Welcome to the PES PTA website!
This is the place where you can find information about upcoming Pittsboro Elementary School (PES) and PES-PTA sponsored events as well as links to PES events. This year we are launching a "Gimmie 5" campaign to help us spread the word about how you can get involved with PES-PTA. We hope you will help us support our PES students and PES staff members this year! For PES-PTA Membership information, please check out the information in the PES-PTA Quick Links (left hand side). We look forward to seeing you and the kids at a PES-PTA sponsored event!!

Saturday, April 1- 11:30 am Hear our PES Young Authors read their works and shop till you drop at Barnes & Noble Booksellers at Streets of Southpoint Mall. A portion of proceeds will be donated to PES.

PES-PTA Volunteers Needed
Becoming a PES-PTA volunteer is one of our greatest ways you can support PES kids and staff via our PES-PTA efforts. But...it's not the only way you can help! There are a lot of different ways you can support. Parents and community members are encouraged to volunteer - in the classroom, in the media center, during PES-PTA or PES events, and at the Chatham PTA Thrift Shop, or even at home. If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom, simply contact your child's teacher to find out how you can help. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer, you can contact the PES-PTA via email pbopta@gmail.com, or contact the school directly if you have a particular interest.
PES-PTA Chatham PTA Thrift Shop
Did you know that Volunteering to help at the Chatham County PTA Thrift Shop is one of the largest sources of funding for our PES PTA. Please consider volunteering at the Thrift Store. Our school has signed up for the following dates and times: wed. 2/8/17 6-8 pm and 2/15/17 6-8 pm. If you are able to help out, please sign up following the link below.
